Last summer I rode my Honda CB500X from Vancouver, British Columbia (BC) to the west Kootenays in pursuit of some of the best riding Canada has to offer! The west Kootenays is a motorcycle rider’s dream destination with its windy roads, beautiful scenery, pristine nature, hot springs, wineries, great food, rich history. Episode 4 follows my ride from Kaslo to New Denver, then over to Slocan and Nakusp for the Horizons Unlimited CanWest conference, and finally over to Halcyon Hot Springs for some relaxation in the mineral pools.
